The selections will be based on the main concept of “Hidden & Forbidden Identities”. The Exhibition will be presented at the same time in different places of the city of Venice from 15 to 20 February in the contest of the project “Contaminating - For the Upcoming Thought”.
The number of works with which you can participate is unlimited.
All video works must be on DVD (PAL or NTSC), no matter what the original source medium. The maximum length of videos should be 10 minutes. All photo works on every kind of support are accepted. The maximum dimensions allowed per each image are 150 cm per side. Send your works submissions with a CV/biography, videography and some still images (only for videoartists) and some samples of photo works (only for artists) to:

Patricia Funegra, Consultora de Arte en Washington DC convoca a artistas Peruanos (pintores, escultores) para Exhibiciones de Arte a llevarse a cabo en Washington DC durante el 2012.
Se requieren:
... 1.- Artistas Peruanos, hombres o mujeres, pintores, cuyas piezas hayan sido inspiradas por mujeres Peruanas, es decir que los lienzos muestren mujeres en estilo figurativo o abstracto.
2.- Escultores Peruanos, que trabajen en madera, piedra, vidrio, etc, para una exhibición al aire libre.
3.- Pintores y/o escultores jóvenes, emergentes, estudiantes o recién egresados.

BAZARTE - LA FERIA DE ARTE
Inauguración 2 de diciembre con más de 200 piezas de artistas peruanos y un grupo de artistas internacionales. Obras desde 70 dólares.
BAZARTE estará abierto al público del 3 al 9 de diciembre, de 9:00 a.m. a 8:00 p.m. en el Espacio de Arte de la Fundación Euroidiomas, Calle Libertad 130, Miraflores. Ingreso libre. La inauguración es el viernes 2 de diciembre a las 7:30 p.m. (ingreso con invitación).
La Fundación Euroidiomas presenta la segunda edición de la Feria de Arte Contemporáneo BAZARTE, con el valioso apoyo de la Embajada de Argentina en Perú, la Municipalidad de Miraflores y la Municipalidad de Lima, instituciones que junto a las empresas auspiciadoras y los artistas participantes hacen posible este esfuerzo que forma parte de su compromiso de responsabilidad social con la comunidad, en este caso el de recaudar fondos para el Centro de Estimulación Temprana de Pachacamac.
Hace 5 años que la Fundación Euroidiomas viene apoyando la Educación Inicial y la Estimulación Temprana para niños de escasos recursos en Pachacamac. Para seguir solventando esta iniciativa de Responsabilidad Social, la Fundación ha reunido en BAZARTE a 80 artistas peruanos y un grupo de internacionales invitados. La venta de las obras serán destinadas a este efecto.

Crossing Identities - International Videoart Festival and Photo Exhibition at Terraza Bugambilias in Morelia, Mexico (December 02 - 04, 2011)
The deadline for applications is November 15, 2011.
The selections will be based on the main concept of “Crossing Identities”. In contemporary society boundaries are getting more and more fleeting, and also the identity, what makes every person or place a recognizable entity, turns out fluid, multiple, making also the cultural, religious, ethnic borders changeable. This change, this mutation has allowed to cross the inside of the identities creating new possible crossings, new blends. And it’s just this “contemporaneity” that makes our civilization conceived as subjected to a process of continuous evolution and cultural hybridization. There is no limit between an identity and the other one any more but it is possible to walk, to cross a passage and to find oneself halfway through it, in a non-place, in a non-identity.
